Collegiate Water Polo Association to Stream 2012 Officials' Clinic on June 2-3 at Villanova University
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- For the first time in league history, the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) will offer live streaming of the 2012 Officials' Clinic on June 2-3 at Villanova University's Bartley Hall.
This year's program will be led by CWPA Coordinator of Officials Ed Reed along with fellow CWPA Technical Committee member and former Olympic Official Bret Bernard. In addition, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Coordinator of Officials Bob Corb, who provided instruction via an online feed last year, will be in attendance at the 2012 Clinic and will be providing insight on the upcoming rules changes and points of emphasis.
The clinic, which will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2 and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, provides an opportunity for the most in depth instruction regarding rules and game management on the collegiate level provided by any conference (CWPA, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Confernece, Big West Conference, Western Water Polo Association, Mountain Pacific Sports Federation).
Additional information on the streaming will be released early next week via an email blast to the league's officials and more information on the official home of the Collegiate Water Polo Association, www.collegiatewaterpolo.org.
Non-CWPA referees that wish to attend the clinic in person can do so for a fee of $20 per day or $40 for the weekend. Registration includes lunch and a CWPA T-Shirt. To register to attend, fill out the form by CLICKING HERE.
