Harvard Doubles-Up Connecticut College 20-10 in CWPA Northern Division Play

NEW LONDON, Conn. -- Harvard University set its highest single-season win total in three years Sunday as it wrapped up a successful three-game Collegiate Water Polo Association  (CWPA) Northern Division road trip with a 20-10 victory at Connecticut College.

Harvard (8-13, 2-4 CWPA) outscored the Camels (2-9, 0-7 CWPA) 5-1 in the first period after a slow start and took a 10-5 lead at halftime on its way to scoring 20 goals against Connecticut College for the fourth time in six games dating back to 2008. The eight wins in 2010 is the most wins for the team since it won 14 games in 2007.

Junior Kevin DiSilvestro scored a season-high six goals while adding an assist and two takeaways to lead the Crimson. Senior Alex Thompson had three scores, four steals and a helper, and senior Jeff Lee added three goals, seven assists and had two takeaways.
