Club

Division I

The champion from each eligible division automatically qualifies for the National Collegiate Club Championship.

Division III

In men's competition, there is also a Division III National Championship limited to NCAA Division III institutions. Eligible divisions qualify their champion to attend this event.

Varsity

Teams compete within their divisions to qualify for the Eastern Championship. Men's teams qualify four from each division. Women's teams qualify two teams from each of the three divisions, with two chosen at-large by a committee.

The Eastern Champion automatically qualifies for the NCAA Championship.
