BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- One site remains known, while the other is to be determind, as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) announces changes to the previously released Mid-Atlantic Division Championship schedule for Saturday-Sunday, October 22-23.

Originally slated to occur at Villanova University for positions No. 1-to-8 and at Franklin & Marshall College for positions No. 9-to-15, the schedule for the final seven positions in the field is now open as the Diplomats' administration elected to withdraw from hosting due to an event on campus.

Due to pool availability, the division championship can not be be decided in one deep pool venue as no Mid-Atlantic Division institution had enough available pool hours to host the championship.

To contest the championship, Villanova University will host the Top Eight teams which will compete for the divison championship, while Franklin & Marshall was to host the next seven which were to battle for final placement in the standings.

At Villanova, games will still begin during the evening of Saturday, October 22 at 6:00 p.m. and continue at 7:10, 8:20 and 9:30 to complete first round action.

The Top Eight teams in the Mid-Atantic will return at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 23 for the final eight contests, including the seventh, fifth, third and first place matches.

Due to F&M's inability to host, the date, time and location of the No. 9-15 games is now to be determined in the coming weeks.

Teams are divided into two groups based on their won/loss records during the season. The top eight play for an opportunity to win the division, while the next seven teams play for final placings within the division and use a two bracket format.
