CWPA Releases 2010 Women's Collegiate Club North Atlantic Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) has released the schedule of games for the 2010 Women's National Collegiate Club North Atlantic Division. Beginning on February 27-28 at Bowdoin College and concluding on April 10-11 at Middlebury College, the division champion will advance to the 2010 Women's National Collegiate Club Championship at the University or Arizona.

Comprised of Bates College, Bowdoin College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Middlebury College and Wellesley College, the North Atlantic Division will have a new champion this year as 2008 and 2009 titleist Boston College is no longer in the division and moved to the New England Division as Middlebury moved over to the North Atlantic. 

In the history of the division, MIT holds three titles (2005, 2006, 2007), while Boston College had captured the previous two (2008, 2009). 

Competition will begin on February 27-18 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine before continuing for the second of two regular season events on March 6-7 also at Bowdoin.  The division race will come to a head on April 10-11 as the teams travel to Middlebury, Vermont to take part in the nine-game North Atlantic Division Championship.  The victor of the tournament will advance to the 2010 Women's National Collegiate Club Championship in Tucson, Arizona at the University of Arizona on April 23-25.
