Gael Force: Iona Takes Over First Place in Northern Division with 14-11 Victory at Harvard
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.
-- The Iona College men's water polo team completed a
Sunday sweep of the division's two best teams entering the day with
a 14-11 victory over Harvard University. Earlier in the day, the
Gaels defeated Brown 10-9. Senior Joe Przekota had
five goals, three assists, five kickouts drawn and a field block
for the Maroon & Gold.
Junior Seth Tasman had four goals, two assists,
two steals and a kickout drawn while sophomore Trevor
Creighton had three goals and three assists. Senior
Emre Erdogan had two goals, two steals and a
kickout drawn. Junior Eric Konzem had 15 saves in
the net, and also contributed three steals and an assist as the
Gaels moved into first place in the division.
