Grand Valley State University's Nenad Ciric Named September 28 Great Lakes Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Grand Valley State University's Nenad Ciric (Sr., Belgrade, Serbia) scored 11 goals on 17 shots and drew seven ejections in three games to earn the September 28 Great Lakes Division Player of the Week award. He helped the Lakers finish the weekend 3-1 to clinch the No. 2 seed for the upcoming division championship.

Overall, the Lakers downed Ball State University (14-4 W), University of Dayton (16-5 W) and University of Notre Dame (11-10 W SD OT), while falling to University of Illinois-Chicago (9-7 L) in the Great Lakes Division only regular season tournament of the year.
