Beast of the East Tournament Set for September 25-26

READING, Pa. -- The 2008 Beast of the East tournament featuring 25 boys' and 20 girls' high school teams from the Northeast will be held on Friday-Saturday, September 25-26 at Wilson High School, Governor Mifflin High School, Muhlenberg High School, Reading High School, Pottsville High School, Cumberland Valley High School and Episcopal Academy. The Championship Round Games will be played on Saturday at Wilson High School (Top finishing teams from each Friday site), Givernor Mifflin High School (Teams finishing second from each Friday site) and Muhlenberg High School (Teams finishing third from each Friday site).  

The event is a great recruiting opportunity for collegiate coaches to see a large number of the top players from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland and New Jersey in one weekend.  College coaches attending the event will be admitted free.
