2009 North Atlantic Division Championship Schedule Reverts to Two-Day Format

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The 2009 Men's Collegiate Club North Atlantic Division Championship schedule will revert back to the original two-day format following the cancellation of another event in the Bowdoin athletic facilities on Saturday, October 17. Games will begin at 9:30 a.m. on the 17th and resume at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, October 18.

The change comes in the wake of a September 11 decision to revise the format to three-days to allow both events to occur at the same time.  With the cancellation of the other event, the schedule reverts to a two-day format to minimize travel and hotel costs for the No. 1 and No. 8 seeds which would have been obligated to play on Friday, October 16 to minimize the amount of games on the 17th.

Competition will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, and run until the start of a 6:30 p.m. game.  On Sunday, October 18, the teams will return to the pool to contest the fifth (9:45 a.m.), third (11:00 a.m.), first (12:30 p.m.) and seventh (2:00 p.m.) place games.
