Brown's Kent Holland Named September 7 Northern Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Brown University goalkeeper Kent Holland (Sr., Orinda, Calif./Miramonte) made 26 saves with four steals and two assists to help the No. 17-nationally ranked Bears to a 2-1 record at the MIT Invitational and earn recognition as the September 7 Northern Division Player of the Week.

He posted six saves in an 8-7 sudden death overtime victory against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges before tallying a season-high 13-saves against University of Redlands in a 9-7 win.  Holland wrapped up the tournament with seven saves in a 14-4 loss to No. 13-nationally ranked University of the Pacific.
