CWPA to Celebrate College Color Days on September 4
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The CWPA will be participating in College Colors Day this Friday, Sept. 4, and league fans are asked to join thousands of other college sports fans and don their respective favorite varsity/club teams gear to work, to class and around town as part of the fourth annual celebration dedicated to promoting the traditions and spirit that makes the college experience so wonderful.
College Colors Day, which coincides with "back to school" and the kick-off of intercollegiate athletics, strives to advocate higher education through increased public awareness, and celebrates the achievements of colleges and universities, acknowledging their fundamental importance.
The NCAA men's varsity water polo season kicks off this weekend with the clubs set to go in another week, so wear your colors and cheer on your favorite team (varsity or club) as they begin the quest for the National Championship.
