CWPA Releases Revised 2009 Men's Big Ten Club Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association has released a revised 2009 Men's Big Ten Club Division schedule which features amended times for the University of Iowa event on September 26-27. Times for the September 12-13 Purdue University event and the division championship on October 24-25 at the University of Wisconsin remain the same.

The inaugural Big Ten schedule under the auspices of the Collegiate Water Polo Association as the Big Ten operated independent of the league prior to the summer of 2009, the division features the University of Illinois, Indiana University, University of Iowa, University of Michigan, Purdue University, University of Wisconsin and the defending national champion, Michigan State University.

Competition will begin on September 12-13 at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and continue at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa two weeks later on September 26-27 to conclude regular season division play.

The postseason will commence on October 24-25 as the division's seven teams travel to the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin for the Big Ten Division Championship tournament with the winner advancing to the National Collegiate Club Championship tournament on November 13-15 at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
