ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The United States Naval Academy Water Polo team will host its annual Blue-Gold intrasquad scrimmage this weekend, in conjuction with a free Skills and Fundamental Clinic and their "Meet the Mids" event. There is no experience level required for the clinic and all that is needed is a swimsuit and a towel.

On Saturday, the Mids will play their intrasquad scrimmages at 8:30 am at the Lejeune Hall pool, and the games will be followed by the "Meet the Mids" and the instructional clinic at 10:45 am. On Sunday, the team will host the clinic first, starting at 4:00 pm, with the Blue-Gold scrimmages to follow at 4:45, also in Lejeune Hall.

Fans are welcome to visit the Naval Academy but your vehicle will not be permitted onboard. Fans can utilize Annapolis public parking areas and walk in thru Gate 1 (closest to Lejeune Hall) or Gate 3, or park your vehicle at the stadium and ride, when one is operating, the courtesy shuttle. In addtion, several streets in Annapolis have metered parking. Fans using the stadium option can park on the west side of football stadium for $5, and ride the shuttle which will take you downtown.

The Navy water polo team welcomes back three starters and 10 letterwinners from last year's team that went 20-11 and won its third straight Eastern title. The Mids are looking for their fourth straight Eastern title, which would make Navy just the third program in league history to accomplish the feat.
