CWPA Releases 2010 Men's Collegiate Club North Atlantic Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) has released the schedule for the 2010 Men's National Collegiate Club North Atlantic Division.

The University of Massachusetts-Amherst in Amherst, Massachusetts and Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine will serve as host sites for the division's two regular season tournaments on the weekends of September 18-19 and October 1-3, respectively, to determine the regular season standings and championship seedings.  The teams will then converge at Amherst College in Amherst, Mass. for the North Atlantic Division Championship.

Comprised of Amherst, UMass, Bowdoin, Colby College, the United States Coast Guard Academy, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, the University of Vermont, Tufts University and Bates College, the North Atlantic Division will feature 36 regular season games and 15 championship contests as the nine teams will battle for a berth to the 2010 National Collegiate Club Championship at Southern Utah University.

In the history of the division, Tufts (1997, 1998, 2007, 2009), Bates (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002), Coast Guard (2008), and former division members Dartmouth College (2003), Middlebury College (2004, 2005) and Boston College (2006) have claimed the previous 13-titles.
