Princeton University Welcomes Four Women's Recruits for 2011 Season

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Princeton University water polo coach Luis Nicolao has announced the class of four student-athletes that will join the women's water polo team as the Class of 2014.The four join a Tigers' team that won 20 games in 2010, was a Southern Division Championship finalist and placed third at the Eastern Championship.

16 - Daisy Anderson, Attack, Atherton, Calif., Menlo School

Daisy Anderson missed her senior season at Menlo School with an injury. She also has played with the NorCal club team for the past three years and competed with the Stanford club team for the previous four years.

1 - Erin Glenn, Goalie, San Mateo, Calif., St. Francis

Erin Glenn participated in water polo all four years at St. Francis High School and began playing on the varsity team as a sophomore. As the starting goalie her junior year, she played a role in the 2008 triple overtime CCS Championship victory with 19 saves. The following year, her team won WCAL Championships and another CCS Championship triumph in double overtime. For both the 2008 and 2009 seasons, Erin was a WCAL all-league first-team, a CCS all-league first-team and a Mercury News first all-league team selection. Glenn was selected to play in the Pacific Zone All Star Team game in December of 2009 and also plays with the Norcal Water Polo during her club seasons.

13 - Molly McBee, Utility, Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., Palos Verdes

Molly McBee was a four-year varsity starter on the water polo team at Palos Verdes High School. Her school's Female Athlete of the Year as a senior, she captained the water polo team in her junior and senior seasons and helped lead her team to its first ever CIF Southern Section Division II title as a senior and a semifinal appearance in 2009. McBee was named the CIF Southern Section Division II MVP as a senior and was a four-time All-CIF. She was also selected a NISCA All-America in 2009 and 2010, a four-time Daily Breeze All-Area and All-Bay League selection, and named Player of the Year by the Daily Breeze in both 2009 and 2010. McBee was the 2010 LA Times Student Athlete of the Year and named Bay League MVP as both a junior and senior, helping team to a 33-1 record in Bay League over four years. McBee also played club for LAWPC from 2004-10 and was five-time All-American at Junior Olympics, She has been on the U.S. Junior National Team training squad since 2007 and has been a member of ODP Coastal Cal. Zone team from 2005-2010.

17 - Katie Rigler, Center/Center Defender, Fullerton, Calif., Rosary High School

Katelyn Rigler was a four-year letterwinner in both water polo and swimming at Rosary High School. Accolades received both her junior and senior years include team Most Valuable Player, Trinity League MVP, CIF Div. 1 First Team, and team leader in goals scored, steals and field blocks. Rigler is a USA Water Polo Academic All-American and four-year Scholar Athlete. As a SOPAC Zone player, she was named to the All-Regional Tournament Team and was selected to train at the Junior National Team Selection Camp 2010. In 2009, Rigler was a member of the championship team at the Olympic Development Program National Championships.
