University of Maryland Seeks Assistant Women's Water Polo Coach
COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The University of Maryland seeks an assistant women's water polo coach. Duties include assisting the head coach with the organization, development and implementation of a competitive, Division I water polo program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, scouting, recruiting, coaching, practice and game scheduling, the administration of team budgets, and fund-raising. Develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni and the general public. Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Must have at least 2-3 years experience as a water polo coach, preferably at the collegiate level. Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
