BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Kiki Golden (Fr., Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) of No. 7-ranked the University of Michigan contributed 2 goals, two assists, seven steals, three kick-outs drawn and a pair of field blocks at the 2010 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Western Division Championship to earn the April 26 Women's Varsity Western Division Rookie of the Week award.

The award marks her fourth Rookie of the Week nod this season after previously claiming the January 25, February 22 and March 29 Western Division accolades.

Playing at home in the Western Division Championship tournament, she posted a goal, an assist, three steals, two kick-outs drawn and a pair of field blocks in a 17-3 semifinal victory against Gannon University to clinch an automatic berth to the 2010 Eastern Championship at the University of Maryland this weekend.

In the division title game against No. 15-ranked Indiana University, she added the game-winning goal, an assist and four steals with one kick-out drawn as the Wolverines rolled to their ninth-consecutive Western Division crown with a 5-3 victory.

The victory in the Western Division guaranteed the top spot in the Eastern field for the Wolverines as Michigan is the top-seeded team for the CWPA Eastern Championship as it hopes to defend back-to-back titles this weekend (April 30-May 2) at Eppley Recreation Center Natatorium on the campus of the University of Maryland in College Park, Md. The Wolverines will take on No. 8 seed Harvard University at 11:30 a.m. to kick off the weekend on Friday (April 30). No. 4 seed Bucknell University and No. 5 seed Princeton University will battle on the same side of the bracket with the winners of both games meeting at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday (May 1) and the losers going into the consolation bracket at 1:30 p.m. No. 2 seed Hartwick College, No. 3 seed Indiana University, No. 6 seed Brown University and No. 7 seed Maryland make up the other side of the bracket, vying for a chance at the championship game on Sunday (May 2) at 2:30 p.m. The tournament champion earns an automatic berth to the NCAA Championship (May 14-16) at San Diego State University in San Diego, Calif.
