Utica College to Web Stream 2010 CWPA Division III Championship on April 23-24
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Utica College Department of Athletics will provide live, streaming video coverage of all 15-games from the 2010 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Championship at Utica on April 23-24 via its streaming partner PennAtlantic.
Fans wishing to watch the games should log into the Penn Atlantic website (http://www.pennatlantic.com/main.php) and select either Utica College or water polo in the drop down menus to pull up the game broadcast.
The inaugural Division III Championship following the creation of a separate Division III structure for Utica, Chatham University, Carthage College, Wheaton College, Macalester College, Washington & Jefferson College, Grove City College, Connecticut College and Pennsylvania State University-The Behrend College, the nine-team, 15-game championship will decide which program is the best of the small college institutions in the CWPA.
Games will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 23 when the host and No. 9-seed Pioneers take on No. 8 seed Chatham. Contests will continue with No. 2 seed Carthage vs. No. 7 seed PSU-Behrend (10:15 a.m.), No. 3 seed Wheaton vs. No. 6 seed Macalester (11:30 a.m.), No. 4 seed Washington & Jefferson vs. No. 5 seed Connecticut (12:45 p.m.) and No. 1 seed Grove City vs. the winner of the Utica-Chatham contest to conclude first round action. The second round will begin at 3:15 p.m. and continue with games at 4:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to set up the placement games on Saturday, April 24.
On the 24th, games resume at 9:30 a.m. and run until the championship game begins at 3:30 p.m. Following the conclusion of the title game, the 2010 Division III Championship All-Tournament Team will be announced the championship plaque will be presented to the victorious team.
