Notre Dame's Maisie O'Malley Named April 19 Women's National Collegiate Club Midwest Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Maisie O'Malley (So., Chicago, Ill./St. Ignatius) led No. 3-nationally ranked the University of Notre Dame in scoring in victories over varsity programs Carthage College (13-7 W) and Wheaton College (10-3 W) in preparation for the 2010 Women's National Collegiate Club Championship to earn accolades as the April 19 Midwest Division Player of the Week.

She tallied a hat-trick versus Wheaton and tacked on four markers against Carthage as the Fighting Irish finished the week 3-0, including a 12-4 victory over Loyola College in Chicago, Illinois.

Overall, she was the linchpin of the Irish's six-of-five efforts as the squad converted on nine-of-11 opportunities against Carthage and Wheaton.
