Hartwick's Lily Martinez Earns April 12 Women's Varsity Northern Division Rookie of the Week Honors

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Hartwick College's Lily Martinez (Fr., Commerce, Calif./Montebello) contributed a goal, five assists and nine steals to earn the April 12 Women's Varsity Northern Division Rookie of the Week award for leading the No. 11-ranked Hawks to victories over Brown University and Harvard University in Northern Division play.

The award marks Martinez's fourth Rookie of the Week nod as she previously garnered the honor on February 15, February 22 and March 22.

She posted three assists and six steals in an 11-6 victory over Brown and added two assists with three steals and three kickouts drawn versus Harvard as the Hawks opened up a two-game lead in the division standings.
