Lindenwood University to Launch "C" Team in Missouri Valley Men's Club Division
ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Lindenwood University has announced its intent to field a "C" Team for the 2010 Men's National Collegiate Club season in the Missouri Valley Division. It is believed to be the first time that a program will field three teams in a division during either the men's or women's collegiate club seasons. The team is expected to expand the division to 10+ programs next season.
Lindenwood, which holds four Missouri Valley Division Championships with crowns in 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009, is coming off a banner year for the program in which the Lions placed fifth at the National Collegiate Club Championship hosted by the University of Florida following back-to-back-to-back Division III National Collegiate Club Championships in 2006, 2007 and 2008 under the tutelage of head coach Ted Greenhouse.
