Bucknell's Tara Murao Named March 29 Women's Varsity Southern Division Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Tara Murao (Fr., Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) tallied two goals, a steal and drew four ejections to lead the Bucknell University Bison to a 3-0 weekend in CWPA Southern Division competition and earn notice as the March 29 Women's Varsity Southern Division Rookie of the Week.

She scored twice with a steal and an ejection drawn in a 15-10 victory over No. 19 Princeton University, before contributing an ejection drawn versus George Washington University in a 10-7 win and two ejections drawn in a 15-14 overtime defeat of the University of Maryland.

Ranked eighth on the team in points with 16, she has 10 goals and six assists to rate as the leading freshman scorer on the squad.
