Bucknell's Hallie Kennan Named March 15 Women's Varsity Southern Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Bucknell University's Hallie Kennan (So., Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) registered six goals, four assists, three field blocks, a steal and an ejection drawn to lead the Bison to a 2-1 week and earn the March 15 Women's Varsity Southern Division Player of the Week award.

At George Washington University in the 2010 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Southern Division season-opener, she tallied a hat-trick with three goals to go along with two field blocks, an assist and an ejection drawn in leading the Bison to an 11-8 victory.

She concluded her week with back-to-back games in California as she posted pairs of goals and assists with a steal and a field block in an 8-3 win versus California State University-San Bernardino, before contributing a goal and an assist in an 8-3 loss to No. 11-ranked University of California-Santa Barbara.

The team leader in goals (29) and ranked second in points (38), Kennan's selection marks her second Player of the Week nod in the past two weeks as she also grabbed the March 1 honor.
