Princeton's Saranna Soroka Named March 8 Women's Varsity Southern Division Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Princeton's Saranna Soroka (Fr., Redondo Beach, Calif./Chadwick School) scored three goals to go along with two assists and a steal to lead the Tigers to a 2-1 record at the Elite Eight Tournament on the campus of Indiana University and earn the March 8 Women's Varsity Southern Division Rookie of the Week award.

She registered pairs of goals and assists with a steal in a 10-8 loss to Hartwick College, before tacking on a field block as part of a 12-6 victory over Harvard University.  She wrapped up the weekend with a goal in a 7-5 win over No. 17 Brown University.

To date, she has nine goals on the season.
