Knox's Kelley O'Connor Named March 8 Women's Collegiate Club Heartland Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Two -meter Kelley O'Connor (Jr., Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) of Knox College buried 15 goals to drive the Prairie Fire/Burning Squirrels over St. Mary's University (Minn.) (8-4 W), Iowa State University (8-7 W) and Carleton College (7-6 W) with a loss to Iowa State (7-5 L) to earn notice as the March 8 Women's National Collegiate Club Heartland Division Player of the Week.

The wins improve Knox's record to 5-3 on the year as the team is guranteed a seed of no worse than fifth for the Heartland Division Championship on April 10-11 at Iowa State.
