PRINCETON, N.J. --
The University of Maryland water polo team rallied to down Marist
College, 7-6, and earn a third-place finish at the 2010 Eastern

University's DeNunzio Pool.
The Terps (7-3) trailed 4-2 at halftime before scoring five
second-half goals, including three in the fourth period to erase a
5-4 deficit.
"It was good to come from behind and get to win to take third
place," Maryland head coach Carl Salyer said.
Alex Gurnee (So., Newport Beach,
Calif./Mater Dei) and Allison Campbell (Fr., Maple
Ridge, British Columbia/Maple Ridge Secondary School) led
the way offensively with two goals apiece.
