BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The University of Notre Dame saw its point total slip for a second consecutive week, but the Fighting Irish garnered 96 points this week to hold onto the No. 1 ranking in the Women's National Collegiate Club Poll in the February 25 poll.

Ranked No. 1 for the past five weeks, Notre Dame held off a charge from the University of California-Los Angeles which used a strong weekend to move up six places to No. 2.  The University of Michigan jumped two spots to No. 3, while the University of California-Davis and University of Oregon both dropped a pair of spots back to No. 4 and 5, respectively.

UCLA and Michigan's rankings are noteworthy as the programs mark the only institutions which rank in the Top 5 in both the varsity and collegiate club polls.  Per the February 24 Women's Varsity Poll, UCLA is ranked third in the land, while Michigan comes in at No. 5.

Defending national champion California Polytechnic State University slips two places to No. 6 this week, while the University of California-Santa Cruz, University of Arizona, University of Pennsylvania and University of Texas round out the Top 10.

Arizona State University, Michigan State University, University of Central Florida, University of California-San Diego, University of California, Grand Valley State University, Texas A&M University, University of Florida, Boston College and San Diego State University round out the Top 20 by ranking No. 11-20 this week.
