No. 6 Michigan to Face No. 1 Stanford & No. 2 USC at Stanford Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 6-ranked University of Michigan water polo team (3-1, 0-0 CWPA West) heads west for the Stanford Invitational on Feb. 6-7 in Palo Alto, Calif. The Wolverines will play at least three, and possibly four, top-10 teams over the weekend, starting with No. 1-ranked and host Stanford at 8:30 a.m. PST on Saturday (Feb. 6).
Michigan will square off with head coach Matt Anderson's alma mater, No. 7-ranked San Jose State University, at 2:45 p.m. PST to close out its Saturday slate. On Sunday (Feb. 7), U-M will face No. 2-ranked University of Southern California at 8 a.m. before playing in one of the championship round contests.
All games will be played in Avery Stadium except for Sunday's matchup with USC, which will be played in the adjacent Baker Pool to allow sufficient rest for all teams before the afternoon session.
