Lindenwood's Ali Campbell Named Sept. 15 Missouri Valley Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Lindenwood University's Ali Campbell (So., Dunfermline, Scotland/Woodmill) scored 16 goals to lead the Lions to victories over St. Louis University (17-6 W), Washington University (16-3 W), Lindenwood University "B" (24-2 W) and University of Missouri (15-4 W) to earn the September 15 Collegiate Water Polo Association Missouri Valley Division Player of the Week award.

Against Lindenwood "B" on September 12, he netted seven goals to power the Lions "A" team to victory.  He followed up the performance with five goals against Missouri, a goal and strong defense against St. Louis and a hat-trick versus Washington to lead Lindenwood to a 4-0 weekend and a share of first place in the Missouri Valley Division.
