Houston's Jon Fouty Named Sept. 29 Texas Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa.  -- Jon Fouty (Fr., Houston, Texas/Clear Lake) of the University of Houston led the Cougars to a 3-1 record to earn the September 29 Texas Division Player of the Week Award.

The 3-1 weekend marked the first time in program history that the Cougars finished with two or more victories in an event.

Fouty finished the weekend with 15 goals, five assists, two steals, two field blocks, eight exclusions drawn and two penalty shots drawn against Texas Tech University (12-6 W), Texas A&M University (5-4 L), Baylor University (17-9 W)and University of Texas "B" (5-0 W Forfeit).
