George Washington's Cray Rogers Named Sept. 22 Southern Division Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- George Washington University's Cray Rogers (Fr., Newberg, Ore./Newberg) scored seven goals in four games to earn the September 22 Southern Division Rookie of the Week award and help the Colonials to a fourth place finish at the 2008 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship at Harvard University.

Against the United States Naval Academy prior to the ECAC Tournament, he scored twice as George Washington fell to the Midshipmen 18-8 in Annapolis. 

At ECACs, he scored twice in a 9-7 win over Iona College and tallied three goals in a 9-8 loss to Bucknell University in the third place game.
