Tufts' Benji Koltai Named Sept. 22 North Atlantic Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Tufts University's Benji Koltai (Fr., Beverly Hills, Calif./Beverly Hills) scored 13 goals, handed out eight assists and grabbed five steals to earn the September 22 North Atlantic Division Player of the Week award in a 4-0 weekend at Bates College by the Jumbos.

Tufts, which is tied for first in the division with the United States Coast Guard Academy, held on to knock off Amherst College (12-8 W), Trinity College (16-11 W), Bates College (12-11 W) and Bowdoin College (11-10 W) behind the play of Koltai who came off the bench to relieve the starting set throughout the games.

Against Trinity (Conn.), he led the team with five goals as the Jumbos are on pace to contend for their fourth North Atlantic Division title following championships in 1997, 1998 and 2007.
