Johns Hopkins' Peter Davis Named Oct. 6 Southern Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Peter Davis (Sr., Riverside, Conn./Greenwich) led Johns Hopkins University to a 3-1 record at the Claremont Convergence Tournament with 12 goals, four assists, three steals and two blocks to earn the October 6 Southern Division Player of the Week award.

He recorded three goals and an assist in a 10-6 victory against Division III No. 3 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges before punching up a hat trick in a 13-7 win over No. 7 Occidental College.  Versus No. 4 California Lutheran University, he scored four goals, including three in the first half to help the Blue Jays jump out to a 9-1 lead, with an assist and two steals in a 13-7 victory.

In an 11-8 loss to No. 1 University of Redlands, he scored two goals with two assists, one steal and two blocks.

Davis leads Hopkins with 36 goals and 50 points on the season.
