Navy Places Third in CoSIDA District II Single Sport Media Guide Competition

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The United States Naval Academy Office of Athletic Communications' 2008 Men's Water Polo Media Guide placed among the nation's best publications in the 2009 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Publications Contest. Navy placed third among 12 books in the District II Single Sport Guide competition behind Penn State's field hockey guide and West Virginia University's rifle guide.

Overall, three media guides were honored as the University of California-Los Angeles' men's and women's water polo guides placed fifth and ninth in the nation, respectively.
