Michigan's Meagan Cobb Named March 30 Western Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- University of Michigan two-meter Meagan Cobb (Fr., Hudsonville, Mich./Hudsonville) scored six goals, including the game-winner in a 7-6 victory over No. 18-ranked Indiana University, to earn the March 30 Western Division Player of the Week award.

The accolade marks the third weekly honor she has received this year following the January 26 and March 16 CWPA Western Division Rookie of the Week awards.

Against Indiana at the Fluid Four Tournament , she netted a hat-trick to key the Wolverines, including the game-winner to put No. 14-ranked Michigan up 7-5 with under two minutes to play, as the Maize and Blue clinched the Western Division regular season title and No. 1 seed for the division championship tournament with a perfect 7-0 mark.

She added two goals in a 10-2 win over the University of Maryland and chipped in a goal with an assist in a 12-2 victory over Sonoma State University as the Wolverines finished 3-0 at the Fluid Four.
