Harvard's Devan Kennifer Named March 30 Northern Division Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Harvard University center Devan Kennifer (Fr., Monterey, Calif./Santa Catalina) scored 22 goals and grabbed three steals to lead the Crimson to a 2-2 record on the West Coast and earn the March 30 Northern Division Player of the Week award. Against Cal State Monterey Bay, she scored 10 times to lead Harvard to a 17-10 victory.
She began the week with four goals in a 7-6 loss to Pacific University on March 24 before tallying six markers in a 12-8 win over University of California-Santa Cruz and two in a 5-3 loss to No. 11-nationally ranked University of California-Davis on March 26.
The February 16 Northern Division Co-Rookie of the Week, Kennifer has scored three or more goals in 10 of the Crimson’s 19 games this year.
