NYU's Meg Weichman Named March 30 New York Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Meg Weichman (Jr., Okemos, Mich.) of New York University scored 10 goals, handed out three assists, drew eight ejections and swiped six steals in three games to earn the March 30 New York Division Player of the Week award and help the Bobcats clinch the No. 1 seed for the division championship tournament.

Overall, she led NYU past Columbia University (13-8 W), Colgate University (5-0 Forfeit), Syracuse University (16-3 W) and Cornell University (13-4 W) at Cornell as the team finished the New York Division regular season with a perfect 8-0 mark to clinch the No. 1 seed at the division championship tournament on April 4-5 at Colgate University.
