George Washington's Allison Peotter Named March 23 Southern Division Rookie & Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- George Washington University's Allison Peotter (Fr., Newport Beach, Calif./Corona del Mar) scored 17 goals with five assists and eight steals last week as part of a 25 goal, nine assist and 26 steal performance during a nine game road trip to the West Coast to earn the March 23 Southern Division Player and Rookie of the Week awards.
She becomes the first player in league history to earn both awards in the same week as Peotter picked up her first Player of the Week and third Rookie of the Week nod this season.
The February 23 and March 2 Southern Division Rookie of the Week, she scored in each of the Colonials' games last week putting in five goals with three assists in a 15-13 loss to Occidental College, four goals and three steals in a 13-8 loss to Concordia University, four goals in a 14-7 win over Chapman University, three goals with a pair of assists and five steals in a 10-8 victory over Whittier College and a goal in a 9-7 loss to California Baptist University.
