Betsy O'Neill

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Notre Dame University goalies Betsy O'Neill (Jr., Danville, Calif.) and Maggie Hyde (Sr., Midland, Texas) helped the No. 3-nationally ranked Fighting Irish finish 3-0 last week to share the March 23 Midwest Division Player of the Week award.

They anchored an Irish defense which allowed 10 goals in three games as Notre Dame downed Eastern Michigan University (15-1 W) and varsity foes Carthage College (10-4 W) and Wheaton College (11-5 W).
