Collegiate Water Polo Association to Launch "Watered Down" on August 3
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association will launch a periodic series of articles on interesting, peculiar and otherwise out of the ordinary facts, figures and personalities from the sport of water polo on August 3 called "Watered Down". A mixture of feature stories, blog entries, photos and more, the series is intended to feature coverage of the sport which falls outside the main stream.
On August 1, we will explore what common connection famed actors Danny Thomas, Jack Benny, Dick Van Dyke, Andy Griffith and Bernie Koppell (he played "Doc" on Love Boat) have to It's a Wonderful Life, Gomer Pyle, Abbott and Costelleo Meet the Invisible Man, Norm Peterson of Cheers and the sport of water polo.
