University of Texas' Becca Lewis Named February 9 Texas Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Sophomore Becca Lewis of the University of Texas scored nine goals in two games against collegiate competition and 18 goals against the tournament field to earn the February 9 Texas Division Player of the Week award as the University of Texas went 3-0 at the Rice Invitational in Baytown, Texas.

She netted nine goals against Rice University (12-1 W) and Texas State University (13-2 W) after netting nine goals versus Baytowon Sterling High School (19-16 W). 

Texas is undefeated on the season and will open divisional play on February 21 at Texas A&M University in the first of two regular season Texas Division tournaments.
