Hartwick's Kirsten Hudson Named February 9 Northern Division Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Hartwick College utility player Kirsten Hudson (Jr., Wellington, New Zealand/Sacred Heart) scored 22 goals with eight assists to earn her second straight division Player of the Week award for her performance during the period of February 2-8.
In a 3-4 week for the Hawks in California, she was a consistent scoring threat registering two goals and two assists against No. 1-nationally ranked the University of Southern California (18-4 L), four goals and two assists versus No. 5 San Diego State University (15-12 L) and two goals against No. 19 University fo California-San Diego (12-10 L).
She closed out her week by tallying 14 goals and four assists, including 11 goals on the final day of competition versus Marist College (13-8 W) and No. 15 California State University-Bakersfield (13-10 W) at the UC-San Diego Triton Invite.
