Still No. 1: Cal Poly Retains Top Ranking in Collegiate Club Poll for Seventh Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. --  California Polytechnic State University reign as the unanimous No. 1 selection in the women's collegiate club poll continued for another week as the Mustangs garnered 100 points to top the February 25 National Collegiate Club Poll.

Ranked No. 1 since the final poll of the 2008 season, the Mustangs are followed by the University of Oregon, University of California-Los Angeles, University of California-Davis and University of Notre Dame in the "Top Five", with University of Michigan, University of Florida, Michigan State University, Grand Valley State University and University of Utah rounding out the "Top 10".

Overall, the top nine teams in the country remain unchanged from last week as Michigan and Florida, which were tied for sixth a week ago, held their positions in the six and seven slots, while the other seven teams did not move up or down this week.

The only change in the "Top 10" occurred at the tenth position as the University of Utah moved up two places after ranking No. 12 in the February 18 balloting.

University of Illinois and University of Pennsylvania both slipped one place with the Illini and Quakers moving to No. 11 and 12, respectively, while Miami University (Ohio) and University of California-San Diego remained at No. 13 and 14.

Boston College ascended to No. 15, University of Arizona slipped to No. 16, California State University-Chico and Boston University stayed at No. 17 and 18, Texas A&M University jumped up to No. 19 and the University of Texas moved into the Top 20 at No. 20 to round out the poll.
