Penn's Winnie Eastwood Named February 23 Mid-Atlantic Division Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Winnie Eastwood (So., San Diego, Calif.) of the University of Pennsylvania only played 20 minutes, but made them count, posting four goals with three assists and four steals to earn the February 23 Mid-Atlantic Division Player of the Week award and lead the No. 11-nationally ranked Quakers to wins over Penn State University (10-4 W) and the University of Pittsburgh (17-2 W).
Penn, which joins the University of Virginia (5-0) as the only undefeated teams in the division, is seeking the program's fourth consecutive division title, and fifth overall, this year after taking the 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008 crowns.
