Maryland's Elina Goldenberg Named February 16 Southern Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- University of Maryland utility player Elina Goldenberg (Fr., Fort Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) scored five goals, including four goals in a 13-9 victory over Bucknell University, to earn the February 16 Southern Division Rookie of the Week award. She added a solo score in an 11-9 win over No. 19 Princeton University as the Terrapins are now 3-3, 2-0 in CWPA Southern Division play.

The wins improved Maryland to 4-17 all-time against Princeton and 6-15 versus Bucknell as the Terrapins now stand in sole possession of first place in the division with each division team having played at least one game for the first time in program history.
