Harvard University's Devan Kennifer Named February 16 Northern Division Co-Rookie of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Harvard University's Devan Kennifer (Fr., Monterey, Calif./Santa Catalina) tallied 10 goals in four games last weekend, including a game-high five in her collegiate debut against the New York Athletic Club, to share the February 16 Northern Division Rookie of the Week award with Brown's Bethany Kwoka (Fr., San Mateo, Calif./San Mateo).
Kennifer also collected five steals in Harvard's 10-6 win over NYAC, chipped in one goal against No. 8 University of Michigan in a 13-2 loss, and tallied four more in the Crimson's 11-4 victory against Siena College as the Crimson hosted the Harvard Invitational against Brown, Michigan, NYAC and Siena.
Kwoka earned her share of the honor for scoring once against No. 8 University of Michigan (8-4 L) and twice versus the New York Athletic Club (11-9 W) in leading the Bears to a 1-1 opening weekend at the Harvard Invitational.
