Wellesley Seeks Head Women's Water Polo Club Coach
WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley
College, a women's college in Wellesley, Massachusetts (30 minutes
west of Boston), is looking for a head water polo coach for a club
team. Practices will be held 8-10 pm in February and 4-6 pm in
March and April, 4-5 times a week. Required attendance for majority
of practices. Hours may be negotiable. Season lasts 10 weeks. Head
coach is required at 3 weekend tournaments: Feb. 28-March 1 (at
Bates College), April 4-5 (at Wesleyan University), April 18-19 (at
Bowdoin College). Coaching salary up to $3,000 will be offered.
The team has a wide range of polo experience. Half the team has at
least 3 years of experience, while the other half has little or no
experience playing water polo. All members are thrilled about the
sport, however, and are excited to learn. We are looking for
someone who will be enthusiastic and encouraging for all of our
players. Experience training a goalie and a hole set preferred.
