Bucknell's Hallie Kennan Named April 6 Southern Division Rookie of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Bucknell University driver Hallie Kennan (Fr., Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) scored a goal, handed out four assists and collected two steals in a 3-1 week for the Bison to earn the April 6 Southern Division Rookie of the Week award.
Against No. 19 Indiana University, she dished out two assists in a 7-4 loss and tallied a goal in an 11-7 win over Princeton University to mark her third consecutive game with a score.
In addition, she helped the Bison down George Washington University (13-9 W) and No. 20-ranked University of Maryland (15-13 W OT) as Bucknell improved to 18-12 on the year, 5-1 in Collegiate Water Polo Association Southern Division play.
The Bison, who claimed the No. 2 seed, will continue the season on April 18 at the University of Maryland for the Southern Division Championship.
