No. 19 Indiana Handles Bucknell 7-4

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's nine game winning streak was snapped Sunday with the Bison's loss against Indiana in Kinney Natatorium in women's water polo. With a 7-4 loss to the Hoosiers, the Bison fall to 18-12 overall on the season as Indiana, the 19th nationally-ranked team, now has a record of 17-4.

Indiana held Bucknell to a scoreless first quarter and got three goals before the Bison jumped on the scoreboard with 2:42 remaining in the second quarter on a goal from senior Aubrey Rowe (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley).

In the third quarter, the Bison got another goal from sophomore Haley Prickett (Newport Beach, Calif./Corona del Mar), at the 2:40 mark. Bucknell came back in the fourth quarter with two more goals, from Rowe at the 2:45 mark and another from sophomore Meghan McNally (Floral Park, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) with 1:09 remaining in the contest.

Rowe led the Bison with her two goals, one assist, four drawn ejections and three steals. Senior Rachel McGillis (Los Altos, Calif./Los Altos) recorded 13 saves for the Bison in goal.
