Texas' Becca Lewis Named April 20 Texas Division Player of the Week

AUSTIN, Texas -- Becca Lewis (So., Houston, Texas) of the University of Texas scored nine goals on 12 shots and chipped in an assist and five steals to earn the April 20 Texas Division Player of the Week award for leading the Longhorns to a 15-10 win over Texas A&M University to take the 2009 Texas Division Championship.

In addition, she drew three ejections/penalty shots in the title tilt to wrap up a 3-0 weekend following victories over Rice University (18-4 W) and Texas State University (14-2 W).
